III by Memória de Peixe
'III' invites us to dive into parallel worlds and strange coincidences, traversing aquatic depths, encounters with ghosts, messages from the future, birds crossing dimensions, and the awakening of the undead. All wrapped in an experimental indie pop spirit—sometimes psychedelic, sometimes exploratory—drawing from jazz, hip-hop, and the nocturnal unease so present in David Lynch’s films. José Soares’ saxophone enhances this dreamlike atmosphere, while the transition to a trio format—featuring Miguel Nicolau on guitar, Pedro Melo Alves on drums and electronics, and Filipe Louro on bass—marks a new chapter for Memória de Peixe.
