Oriental Towers by Modern Art
This is a remastered version of Modern Art’s second cassette album from 1983 released for the first time on vinyl and includes 3 previously unissued tracks from the original session. Oriental Towers was the follow-up to Underwater Kites from 1982 comprised of songs of a similar vein which evoke the sound of that time.
On this album you will find examples of what was going on in England during the pinnacle of the post-punk music scene - a time that inspired lots of young musicians to develop music influenced by the likes of Joy Division, Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle and Clock DVA.
