This small collection includes two alternate versions (of tracks from 'One' and 'Another') plus an impromptu recording that was transformed into the miniature piece you hear. It also features a different line-up on each track.
The trumpet was recorded in the 15th century Bey Hamam (Thessaloniki, Greece), the clarinet in the 14th century church of Sf. Margareta (Mediaș, Transylvania), the idiophone samples at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the rest at home (Thessaloniki, Athens & Timișoara respectively) between Jan. 2013 - Aug. 2018.
...All in true MAGAM spirit, since this shape-shifting project was always meant to embrace improvisation, experimentation & the unpredictable.
