Leaving by Moonfish

Moonfish's EP Leaving features five original tracks and one Portishead cover, blending jazz, alternative rock, and electronic influences. Enhanced by a horn section featuring renowned artists Alex Hitchcock, Rosie Turton, and Rich Muscat, the EP offers captivating piano accompaniments, pulsating electronics, groovy drum beats, an evocative brass backdrop, and a mesmerising sax solo.
Drawing on influences such as Aaron Parks, Kneebody, Bonobo, and Thom Yorke, the EP presents a fresh take on the piano/synth and drums duo, standing out for its balance between earthy grooves and dreamy, ethereal melodies.
Leaving is a dynamic collection of songs, exploring intimate dialogues that build to intense collective explosions.
