My Friend Dario is back on Hell Yeah with an EP of Balearic bliss and bangers that comes before a vinyl EP on NuNorthern Soul later in the year, and a debut full length on this label in Spring 2021. Dario has a mature sound infused with world music and has released a number of EPs on this label before, He has remixed Calm here and also featured on the Buena Onda - Balearic Beats compilation.
He opens up here with lush Mediterranean vibes on 'Montalbano,' which pops and bubbles with trippy synths and bendy bass.
Next is 'In Gola' is Dario's most straight up dance floor oriented tracks... a balearic banger with a rasping bassline and crisp claps that make you move.
Last of all, 'Salamon's Son,' a soothing late night slow dance that brims with soul and is a firm favourite of the Buena Onda parties that will keep Catania's ever growing Dario fan base very happy in the run up to his debut album.'

It's easy to wrap yourself up in ''Montalbano EP'' tunes. The release delivers some of My Friend Dario's heaviest and most dancefloor tunes so far. On the sea-shored same titled tune the boogie moves on and as the track builds gradually and its funky keys and tweaked electric guitar follows the piano melody, a killer nostalgic soundscape appears on the horizon. What a magic! ''In Gola'' fulfilled with the results of cocktail's recipy called ''Sicily''. Somewhere between synth-pop, lyric-less and love affair-less Italo Disco, West Coast house, funk and beach sand-dance comes to take on a charter flight to island's old school nightlife next to the beach. At last but not least, My Friend Dario's ''BUENA ONDA - Balearic Beats'' hot tune appeared on the package too. ''Salamon's Son'' retro-modern feel touches the West Funk and modern funk boogie vibes and deals with a sunset to after midnight Balearic and Mediterranean bliss and you know it already, the result is fire.
