FOREVER by New Slang

New Slang is like a herd of stampeding Unicorns.

A monolith of charismatic quasi-wisdom, the New Slang clan follows up its 2012 collaborative album with Coco Bryce (Coco Slang -Canadian Dutch) with a new EP, simply and elegantly titled FOREVER. Inspired by 'Batman Forever', and the devastating performance by Val Kilmer in the titular role particularly, New Slang's FOREVER is as sharp-tongued as it is delightfully non-sensical. Odd references and non-sequiturs abound in the EP, much akin to the portrayal of Chase Meridian in 'Batman Forever' by the not-yet-liberated-from-Scientology Nicole Kidman.

New Slang gestated the FOREVER EP for approximately nine months over the course of 2012-13 before a glorious birthing, wherein Dutch superstar producer Coco Bryce served as the midwife.

"New Slang FOREVER is life afresh, life anew," remarks Puerto El Garbaggio, one of New Slang's multi-polar emcees. "With wondrous and curious eyes we gaze at the splendour of existence. Everything is appreciated, everything is truth--it's something akin to 'the return to innocence' that Enya spoke of so many years ago."

Brimming with well-deserved self-confidence, Mika Foster, aka The Microphone Foster Child, says "I think I might change my name to M. T. Platitude," then proceeds to giggle slightly and wink.
