Three years ago I was told I had six months to live due to liver cancer. I remember my first thought as I was looking at the doctor - "Maybe over there in your paradigm, but not over here in mine!"

This experience sent me on a journey that totally enhanced and enriched my life. I still sometimes had thoughts of dying and of how difficult it would be to leave behind my children and my beautiful two-year-old granddaughter - these thoughts are natural - but I kept bringing myself back to the place where I knew I could heal myself.

A friend told me about the Penny Brohn Cancer Care centre in Bristol, where they have a mind, body and spirit approach. Walking in there for the first time was like coming home to love and healing, and it was there I first met Pat Pilkington, one of the centre's founders. Pat - who sadly passed from this world in 2013 - was totally inspiring. Her talk opened with the words, "Darlings - your souls brought you here. Cancer is your ticket, but your souls brought you here to wake up to your connection with the divine." Hearing these words was a life line. It was so refreshing after being in the realm where there is no hope unless you take medicine.

With Pat's and many other people's help and encouragement, I did indeed wake up to a whole new level and began to feel an even deeper connection to everyone and everything, Including nature and the creator..When I took the time to stop and listen under a tree or in the moonlight, these beautiful songs just came. I was a vessel, a channel for something greater that was coming from the healing realm, and it was healing me. it was so beautiful. Gratitude, Love, Forgiveness was filling my heart. All of the above and just letting go and letting life guide me are the things that have led to my healing a liver tumour. I lovingly share my experience with you. I know that healing the self is totally possible. There are only positive vibrations in this music.
