Telephone is the 2nd single taken from Natalie Slade's BBE Music released vinyl LP, Molasses. As with the rest of the ten track album Telephone is written and arranged by Natalie with production from Brisbane's Sampology and features keys from The Dieyoungs alongside guitar from Laneous AKA Lachlan Mitchell.
Coming in at just over 4 minutes Telephone is an excellent example of what happens when intricate, internal rhyme lyrics, a captivating vocal style, a fantastic rhythm track of bass and drums are joined by a keys ridden melody to create a 'dare you not to dance' floor filler.
With Molasses coming out on BBE Music as a vinyl, ten track treat of an LP, Telephone (along with its partner single release Unquenchable Craving) is a perfect insight into the fusion of genres that makes up the innovative future soul sound coming out of Australia just now.
Telephone is a digital release and one for the DJs, the dancers and the radio.
