Repulsion by Soft Issues

Soft Issues return with their third album 'Repulsion' and first release for the label. Ambient, textural noise gives way to the fried, frenetic blown out harsh noise and beats that defines Soft Issues. Dragging the listener through pummelling techno tracks such as 'Usable Past', covering double meaning, familial breakdown and social deception, the record moves into increasingly noisier territories with Scum Filter and Gutter-Dwelling, taking influence from Rotterdam Hardcore covered in filth and bile from job loss and sleepless nights. Soft Issues to distill harder, club based elements of the band and take this into even more threatening areas of inner disquiet.
