Rumba On The Corner is a super reggae jazz band lead by Takumi Moriya, composed of 7 renown musicians in the Japanese reggae / jazz scene. They are or have participated in popular Japanese bands such as DETERMINATIONS, Phat, Tokyo Zawinul Bach, DCPRG, Unkie, JUDE, Naruyoshi Kikuchi Dub Septet, Groupo Chévere to name a few. “LIVE” is Rumba On The Corner’s 1st release and is a live album recorded in June 2013 (Tokyo). These technicians brings out heavy-weight grooves with dynamic interplays and stimulating improvisations. You can easily imagine by listening to this record that all the audiences were totally knocked out
by this show. To all jazz, reggae, salsa, ska and impro fans!
