This release catalogs all of our singles, remixes, and previously unreleased tracks that have been featured on various projects and labels over the past 8 years. 50 tracks featured on over 20 labels, a musical diary of sorts, telling stories through sound about times, places, and feelings that are both real and imaginary. Manipulating samples through hardware to create songs ranging many subgenres of vaporwave; from classic, mallsoft, and signalwave, to dark ambient, noise, experimental, and more.

Navel-gazing, or omphaloskepsis, is the contemplation of one's navel as an aid to meditation. Actual use of the practice as an aid to contemplate the basic principles of the cosmos and human nature is found in philosophy and many spiritual traditions from around the world. Today, the term is generally used in a derogatory way to refer to excessive focus on oneself, or self-indulgent introspection.
