Unfoldingobject [EP] by Todd Bartel
The proto-collage, Latin word, "necto" translates: to bind, to tie up, fasten.
This limited edition EP contains the first two songs from Necto's forthcoming album about collage, uncollage, and the creative act.
The images on the album jacket are scans of the front and back sides of an objet trouvé—a sun-bleached, water, and rust-stained piece of paper, found in a dilapidated building in Stamford, CT, in 1994.
The purchase of a digital EP comes with a jpeg reproduction of a readymade drawing by the album artist, Todd Bartel. The purchase of a limited edition CD comes with an Eco gatefold card case, with a printed reproduction of a readymade drawing, hand-signed, and hand-numbered by the artist. Edition of 50.
