Hummingbird by Nina Hynes
This weird little track was created in response to the image(cropped here to fit) sent to me by Visual verse last Friday, the morning the word woke up to the news of Russia invading the Ukraine, 1205.43 km from where I live.
I had one hour to respond in words and then to write a song.
I decided to shoot straight from the heart. No overthinking, Not trying to poeticise. No intellectualising.
I took less than 4 minutes.
