Anthony Binding AKA MODUL is an innovative electronic musician based in Lancaster, in the heart of North West England. Born in Bolton in 1987, Anthony's journey has taken him through the scenic landscapes of Todmorden, Burnley, Darwen, and Catterall before he settled in Galgate, near Lancaster.
Anthony's passion for music began in the early 2000s, experimenting with sequencer software like Dance eJay before advancing to tools like Cakewalk, Reason, and Cubase. As his skills grew, so did his gear collection. With his early wages, he invested in his craft, acquiring an Access Virus Ti synthesizer, Elektron Machinedrum, and essential outboard equipment, including a DBX compressor and a Lexicon reverb unit.
Over the years, Anthony's setup has transformed, reflecting his evolving creative vision. Today, he produces music using a streamlined setup that includes a pair of Elektron boxes, a MIDI controller, and a MacBook Pro running Ableton Live. His sound blends technical mastery with a deep love for electronic music, creating immersive and complex experiences that resonate.
