UTOPIA 126 is Pau Magrané's plunderphonic exercise producing 8 electronic music tracks derived from 8 audio resources proposed by 8 different artists who met at a workshop called Fire-Hangout that took place on 2018 at Utopia 126 space, Carrer de Cristóbal de Moura, 126, 08019 Barcelona.
A Macbook Air and LG computer with Renoise, Audacity and Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch were used on the recording which lasts 12'60'', speed limited to 126 BPM.
Each artist proposed sounds are not blended with others.
Each participant was assigned to one note following western notation and then sung their name's 1st syllabes. Track's audio resources were kept at one note per track, different octaves where permited.
