Our baby’s feet above his head

Ted’s adventure begins
Whilst our son
Dandles in his sling
A seam of good weather
Ourselves and boy take shape

Steep summits reached
As our little laddie sleeps

Sun warms the trodden
As we witness Ted’s last day

His back legs gave way
Looking at his faithful friend

Whilst our boy
Takes his first steps any day
