based on a story concept by c. bryant
"an astronaut [random member of a spaceship crew] wakes up from hypersleep to find all of his crew-mates killed off by some evil cult. the astronaut discovers that the cult has managed to open up a portal to another dimension in attempts to summon a massive, galaxy swallowing [lovecraftian] deity. the astronaut manages to eliminate all of the cultists by destroying the gravity stabilizers in various parts of the ship, but at the expense of the escape pods. in the end, the astronaut chooses to heroically use the remaining engine fuel to destroy the portal, sacrificing himself in the process and protecting the galaxy from the deity being summoned."
