Fritiniency – the chirping sound made by birds or insects; an ambient creaturely hubbub (17thC English; from Latin “fritinnīre”, onomatopoeically meaning “to twitter”).
If Fritiniency were to be a musical genre or technique, this is what I imagine it would sound like.
This is a one take recording of a composition made with a modular synthesizer. The idea of fritiniency as a musical genre or technique was posed by Disquiet Junto as a challenge. This is my response. Main voices: Plonk, ER-301 sine oscillator and wavetable oscillator, Braids, Sinc Iter, and two ER-301 loopers
