Ice Level by ookiiani
Since the release of 'The Shakeup' in 2020 I've worked on many things - even an entire album which I never released, eventually realising it just wasn't the type of sound I was aiming for; something I should continue to grow and (eventually) release away from the 'ookiiani' name.
In that time I became increasingly enamoured with some sub-genres of electronic music again, after falling out of love with it over the years. This is my happy return to making more upbeat, electronic music - inspired by the artists that have been my soundtrack for the past few years.
I've been collecting some recent tracks, and decided to break the silence and create an EP. This will form 'Clippings', my first release in half a decade. 'Ice Level' has been a favourite amongst my friends, so felt like the right track to release as a single.

Note: This is the very first ookiiani release that I've set a price for. Over the years I set my music to completely free as they contained uncleared samples, and felt this was my way of staying morally just in releasing it to the world. However, this set of music is completely sample-free, and all elements are either licensed or completely original. Hopefully you'll agree that the time and love put into making this new music deserves a small cup of coffee :)
