The beauty of memories is that they can be even more vivid than reality. It's in the nature of our mind to produce the virtual realities full of wonder and we call it imagination. Yet, the nature of reality is the same, and the way we perceive it makes the knowledge about reality almost as virtual as dreams... Rational minds can argue that, but the dreamers are always on this side of the fence, where the colors are fluid and nothing is determined. Memory – one of the most exquisite instruments of the mind, keeps imagined and real in one storage, treats them the same and sometimes we can't tell the difference... It may be frightening yet it inspires. As well as the memory, which can be anything, from traumatic to pleasing. In the end, a polarity of the experience doesn't really matter, only one important thing is that we revisit it constantly, thus creating the Self...
