The tracks on this release were loosely inspired by the forms of
Japanese guitarist Masayuki Takayanagi. Tracks two and three are
closer to what he would have called a "gradual projection," minimal, a
bit more restrained, while the interplay between instruments is more
obvious. Tracks one and four are (for the most part) "mass
projections," marked by bombast, intensity, and a total disregard for
anything approaching conventional melody or structure.
