I've found this state of mind
For about an hour's time
This must be the one
That means that life of fun
Maintain to keep it there
Break away, but I fear the tear
Is this what I let soar?
How do I know if I've never felt this flame before?

Pass through these states of mine
Find those I don't seem to mind
Keep the obvious ones
If only there were obvious ones

That's not true
Felt a few
Then they grew,
Disappeared and then renewed
Disguised themselves as things to fear
Now I see
Easily
Pity
The old me couldn't agree
But that's just how one goes

I try for the reasons that keep me from home
There's a fire that burns there and in my heart
I stay in fears, in hopes, that they'll become familiar
And I can know them and I can finally let them pass on by

Let me think
Too much think
Start to think
Need a drink
Start to feel it move
From the toes
To the nose
Around it goes
Does it show
Standing this moment of still

Then another comes and I don't think that I can face this one
So I run in hopes it'll stay where I used to stand
But the fire spreads all over my body
So I stop and then I drop and then, oh and then,
it's a flame
