Chattering Birds from The Butcher by Paul Mosley and the Red Meat Orchestra

The birds rise from the trees and fly across the island to the Butcher's factory where they land and muster, flock and cluster into the figure of a man - the Butcher. He has heard everything - the plot to raise the downtrodden and defeated against him, the scientist's search for the lighthouse and the star gazer's confession of love. The Butcher sees it all, the Butcher hears all. If this star-gazer and this scientist work together, one looking to the stars, and one digging below the earth, they may find out more than the Butcher can afford to be revealed. Dissent. Revolution. They must be stopped.

And he will use this foolish talk of 'love' to do it.
