RUFF is back with yet another pair of filthy bangers from two of the most spotted French bass warriors.
A-side consists of the long awaited Niveau Zéro refix of Machine Head's classic « Let Freedom Ring » in a hard dubstep mode. Based on the famous eponymous vocal, it's a blast in the chest. Niveau Zero does what he does best : a mix of metal influences and heavy dubstep that will please metal heads as well as bass heads.
A perfect track for your favorite moshpits.
AA-side delivers an equal dose of dopamine. NZ's partner-in-crime The Unik (who released previously this year some big tracks on imprints such as Buygore) knows how to twist it proper. Sharp and tight drums come with a monster reece, typical of The Unik's style. It's heavy, it's nasty, it's ...ruff, and yet the track somehow's got enough funk in it to make you dance like an evilish B boy.
A big release overall, perfectly fitting the spirit of Ruff Records to pack dancefloors and ruin a few subwoofers.
