God Bes from Orphans (2004) by p6

Ah, the difficulty of transferring analog to digital. Particularly when doing so from an old, warpy cassette, via a Tascam 488 different than the one it was all recorded on in the first place. A mess.

Very sketchy draft of a song that was going to be part of an album called 'Chaff,' with only bass, drums, and some spoken word over it all. The idea was for each song to have a bassy bass part, and a (6-string) guitar-y bass part. Like this one.

Thematically the song was to be a spoken piece where the ancient god Bes is boasting of his prodigious member. Samples of moaning girls, etc. One of my wannabe Zappa pieces.
