Conspiracy Therapists by Jeff Gburek & Filippo Panichi
After out first recording, published as "Parallel Spirals" in 2015, we had been trying, without fail, to meet again. We began exchanging ideas & sounds over the net to keep the energy circulating and many new tracks evolved quickly through this spooky action at a distance. One of these appeared soon after as an EP on "Manyfeetunder netlabel (mfu060)" entitled "The Possibilities Within An Impossible Perspective". The rest of the work which we've created and consider as belonging to this epoch we release now, with pleasure, on this album: crystallized & dubbed, drummed into existence as Conspiracy Therapists.
Avevamo in programma di incontrarci di nuovo per delle registrazioni, ma dato che l' incontro continuava ad essere rimandato abbiamo deciso di registrare ognuno delle improvvisazioni, o strutture, come se anche l' altro fosse presente. Ci siamo scambiati ogni traccia varie volte, aggiungendo suoni o togliendoli. Parte del risultato è merito di questo viaggio. The Possibilities Within An Impossible Perspective (mfu060), uscito per Manyfeetunder nel Dicembre 2014 è stato registrato con lo stesso metodo, usato forse in una differente “prospettiva”: doveva essere lo studio preparatorio per un incontro dal vivo, ma la sua coerenza sonora, che ci ha convinti a pubblicarlo, ha generato molto altro materiale. Conspiracy Therapists ne è una parte.
