Polenta:

Definition 1 (Merriam-Webster): mush made of chestnut meal, cornmeal, semolina, or farina

Definition 2 (Smith-Bloom): a musical duo made of pianist Paul Bloom and singer Laila Smith

Before Paul Bloom met Laila Smith, he studied Dr. Seuss, lived in Boston, and played the piano.
Before Laila Smith met Paul Bloom, she drank tea, lived in California, and sang.
Purely by chance, they meet.
They write a song.
A couple months go by.
Purely by chance, they reconnect.
They write another song, and discover how much they love making music together.
Paul begins attending school in California.
Coincidence?
We think not.
After meeting to write as often as possible in Stockton and recording their music in Boston, Paul and Laila are releasing an EP.
