Something big is happening, and power shifting, out in my homeland.
I cannot just walk away, I've heard them speak, of what they would betray.
Sometimes you have to leap, despite the void, and hope you've made the right choice.

I may never be able to go, back home,
I may never make it to the end, of the race,
But I must put it all aside, oh,
I'm not gonna run and hide. (Run and hide).

I am only small, but so starts change, and I feel that it's starting to snowball.
Being brave is more than facing the fight, it's standing for, what you know to be right.

Maybe I won't have to win, maybe someone else, is finding a new way to begin.
