(Spacey T. was a member of Fishbone from 1996-2003 and a co-founding member of the original and legendary, all black metal band, Sound Barrier from 1981-1986.) SoundBarrier reformed in 2017, encouraged by Tom Morello, who signed them to his label Firebrand Recirds, in 2018.

It all began at a Fishbone / King's X concert in Denver, CO 2003. Spacey T was rippin leads and Lisa Marie ended up playing drums with the band at an after party, striking up an intense friendship. Our common love of music, created a special bond and Lisa Marie moved to Los Angeles in 2005. Now living together, we've created a teaching team and have been teaching kids, teenagers and adults how to play music, helping keep live music and musicianship alive. We teach Rock Band classes in 2 Hollywood Jr. High Schools and private lessons in our home studio and throughout Los Angeles, all the while writing music we are proud to represent. In honor of the great musicians that have passed, our beautiful ancestors ,who've inspired us to keep playing music no matter what, we would like to introduce to you, Praise the Dead ; The Heavy. Spacey T. plays 8 string guitars. Lisa Marie plays drums and sings. After writing a ton of songs, we've chosen 15 to share with you and will be releasing them 5 at a time. The first installment is The Heavy, followed by The Deep and The Light. As an independent band, we rely on the support of awesome friends, family and music fans like you, to keep going, keep following our dreams and to keep spreading the love.
