A cosmological fantasy about Black Period
After the big bang had happened, a tremendous number of tiny particles of cosmic substance dispersed in space. None of this particles had a chance to collide because they moved with equal sped in one direction. Such a move could have last forever but for black holes, it turned different.
Black holes' gravity soaked in the particles. Under its' influence particles started to change directions and collide. From this collision first atoms appeared and from those atoms, life emerged. The segment of time from the point when particles started to collide, influenced by black holes, till life will disappear in black holes we named Black Period.
Black Period it is first studio EP of Ptakh_Jung. Three of four tracks of the album emerged on the intersection of different kinds of arts. The title track Black Period was made for the same-titled project of Ukrainian painter Olexa Mann. Tracks Object and Monika have been inspired by short movies of Polish director Paulina Skibinska. The whole release itself dedicated to the space theme.

Ptakh_Jung is a Kyiv based duo of keyboardist Anton Dehtiarov and guitar player Volodymyr Babushkin. Musicians combine contemporary classical with electronic, post-rock, ambient, elements of grunge and noise. They define their music as post-classical and electronic impressionism.
