Hermetic Peaks by Bovaflux

Bovaflux is a talented young man named Eddie from the United Kingdom. By day, Eddie works on video games (such as this year's excellent Elite: Dangerous) and by night (and also probably by day too, now that we think about it) he coaxes lovely warm melodies and bleepy drumlines from his studio. Reminding us of things like early Bochum Welt, Artificial Intelligence and the more optimistic sounding records in the Toytronic catalog, Hermetic Peaks is a colourful and varied stroll through many of the best things about electronic music from the last ten years, carefully and considerably placed on display like statues in a garden or paintings in a hall, each burbling with sonic character and synthesized funk that just won't quit. Bovaflux is a welcome addition to the growing Recycled Plastics family, with a perfect record for keeping cool in the summer sun.

There is a limited edition CD-R version of BC42, which includes two bonus tracks and a special Milieu remix!
