Surroundings 1 by remst8
Surroundings 1 contains three improvisational performances recorded near a hiking trail stream in Kansas on December 11, 2021. The music was performed and recorded in quadraphonic format. The accompanying ambient sounds were recorded in ambisonic format at the same time. I synced & mixed the music and field recording later.

remst8 is an experimental computer musician who explores sounds in whatever spare time he can steal. Rather than aiming for a particular genre, remst8 prefers to follow the sounds where they take him, informed and inspired by the eclectic styles of music he listens to. Generally, these explorations focus on deep drone and dark ambient tracks with a smattering of noise and experimentation.
