Pozole by Renee Goust
This is the theme-song for short film "Pozole" directed by Jessica Mendez Siqueiros and winner of Cinequest's 2019 Grand Jury Prize. I wrote it for all our matriarchs, grandmothers, mothers, and granddaughters. It is inspired in the purest form of love that exists, and in the passing down of cultural traditions through food and communal cooking.
