Rock Overture from La Traviata by Renegade Opera

An overture of themes found throughout the Renegade Opera show. The opening part of the performance features lot's of flashing lights and fog, an appearance by Lenny Amber in the signature plastic suit being carried on stage on the shoulders of a pair of dancers wearing outfits that would toady look like Japanese anime characters. During this number we get introduced to all the members of the troupe.

A superstar in the hippest circles, a curiosity when he hit the road, Lenny Amber embodies the highly localized spirit of early 80s self-invention. Adopting outrageous outfits and an expression drained of emotion Amber looked like he might be a fragile robot or possibly another species. A footnote in Boise music history but one who makes those footnotes worth remembering
