Island Spinning from Red Chard by Rich O'Meara
This piece is based on an improvisational structure I developed for a scene from the silent film, The Seashell and the Clergyman (1928), by Germaine Dulac. It was a trippy sequence with super-imposed images of a priest holding a spinning island in his hands, while floating in the clouds....

His work has been featured in live theater, on the NPR program “New Sounds”, and the PBS documentary “Music Instinct, Science and Song". He has performed with Silent Orchestra, Colla Parte, Sandbox Percussion, Trio O, One Earth Percussion Theatre, Dan Deacon, and CMF.
