A title extracted from the first album of Rive Gauche the worthy successors of St Germain …

Steeped in the cheeky tales of his grandmother, Marcelle, who ran « Le Tabou » - a mythical Jazz-club in the Saint-Germain-des-prés of the 60’s – Alexandre Destrez meets electro in 1994 while he distiguishes himself with his jazz phrasé on St Germain’s albums ; « Boulevard » (F com) and « Tourist » (Blue Note)

With this double influence and his many musical collaborations with both french and international dj’s and producers, Alexandre creates Rive Gauche, an exciting electro Jazz project ! His remarkable pianist and keyboardist skill are electrified by the effects and programming of DJ producer David Hachour from Parisian Soul and is enriched by a band of brass and percussion

Rive Gauche reflects the French Touch sound and spirit 
with a jazz melting electro beats and voices' samples : 
a new Electro Jazz sensation groovy, spirited and trendy.

As always, Alexandre plays in an Electro Jazz, and very "French Touch", spirit. He will be accompanied by David Hachour, Dj Producer and talented musicians.
