What started off as an experiment in guerrilla track making turned into a side project and then quickly an obsession. In only one week's time, this album had been written and recorded. Using an extremely modest collection of toy-like synthesizers and samplers, Toys most assuredly has a raw, gritty and certainly lo-fi tonal quality but it's timeless breaks, jazzy interludes and upbeat vibes make for a uniquely enjoyable listen that you won't want to put away.

Toys is that classic joy that only discovering a new beat tape from the ethos can provide. Fun, head-bobbing and immediately gratifying; this little album is sure to please.
