The front cover has a series of mud dots dabbed onto an adobe wall of an abandoned farm house. These were painted decades ago by an unknown homesteader as an attempt to, at no cost, improve their place on this earth. Maybe she/he was bored or just needed to try to make a hard life a little nicer.
The effort to make the house more attractive impressed me. I realized how many of my songs are directly related and influenced by the LAND. Here is my take on the mesas, prairies, wheat, back-roads, and so many others parts of our land that make up the core of my being. God Bless.
