He got his heart in Lebanon, I saw pictures in GitmoBay/
I don't know what he's seen and I don't need him to say/
A hero in my eyes always took care of all our needs/
Taught me about sticks and stones and who words can't make me bleed/
Always said do the things that you gotta, so you can do the things that you wish/
Every shot can be made, but there are shots you're gonna miss/
Grab it, Turn it, Shoot it, follow through and you'll go far/
Always aim for the top don't be afraid to hit the bar/
Never get discouraged and when worse comes to worst/
Always remember that its family that comes first//

The hero that hailed from Lebanon he took me by the hand/
and taught me what it means to really be a man/

I could never repay him for what he's given me/

When I saw the pictures in GitmoBay I didn't know what they meant/
And then I heard the stories of the time the hero spent/
Fighting for peace/ in the middle east/
And he got the good things that he deserved at least I think he did/
A House, and a Wife, and three loving kids/
He gave his life to Jesus Christ, and he left those gates running/
And many have tried to trip him up but they ain't stuntin' nothing/
cause the growth of a mustard seeds it's just like a launching pad/
What I'm really trying to say is, Thank You Dad//
