Eirene Epiales by Rorquals
This AA single comprises of two pieces that were written for a live performance at the tail end of 2020. Although they were partially improvised on the night, I was inspired to record them for an official release, my first of 2021.
Written, recorded, mixed and mastered at home by Robert Mells, December 2020.
The following equipment was used for this recording -
Tascam 414 MK2 4 track recorder for playing tape loops and various samples whilst being manipulated by Behringer Echo and Reverb Machine pedals, and a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal.
Other samples were played and manipulated using the iPad Samplr App.
A Korg Kaossilator running through a Digitech Obsura provides much of the feedback and general noise throughout.
Both tracks were recorded using Ableton.
