Beautiful Mess by Ross Harper
Beautiful Mess is the first in a mini series from label founder Ross Harper that explores the creative process of beginning a track with an organic shaker instrument loop, not a sample, but actually a real instrument recorded and then looped up.
The analogue drum machines and synthesisers are then built around the loop, using it’s texture and rhythm as the guide for the structure of the beats and melodic sequences. combines raw analogue drum machines and organic shaker instrument.
