Mpwasaa is a fresh and modern collaboration between Love Lokombe and producer STECHER which was recording in Kinshasa in 2023

Best known as a founding member of the Kinshasa-based DIY band KOKOKO!, Love Lokombe is a songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist working with Labels such as Moonshine, RRLLRRLL and Eck Echo (with Ngwaka Son System). He is considered one of the fathers of the alternative music genre kizobazoba, where electronic / techno and Congolese music styles and patterns (sebene, rumba, ndombolo) meet, his lyrics are full of double meanings and offer a satirical look at Congolese society. He is a master of combining a diverse range of styles and is on the forfront of contemporary congolese music.
STECHER is a producer,drummer and composer working globally on cutting edge collaborations and solo productions, pushing the boundaries of genre limits and style confinements.

Il est passé maître dans l'art de combiner des styles variés et est à l'avant-garde de la musique congolaise contemporaine.
STECHER est un producteur, batteur et compositeur qui travaille à l'échelle internationale sur des collaborations et des productions solo, repoussant les limites des genres et des styles.
