Ryan Downing is an indie rock multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based in East Alabama. With his hindsight to retro rock and folk influences such as Big Star, Emitt Rhodes, The Beatles, Syd Barrett, The Beach Boys, and Nick Drake, and more recent indie rock influences such as Wilco and Elliott Smith, Downing's sound is a melting pot of pure rock and roll inspiration.
