We live like trees, inside the footsteps of our ancestors. We live like spiders, in the net of the maternal lair. We always love on the edge of thirst. We dream between in the premises of the spirits. We die as if we still were alive.

This VA is a message of support towards the Guarani-Kaiowa people of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul in the centre-western Brazil. The Guarani are a indigenous people that exist until today. All this years they fight to maintain their cultural identity and the land of their ancestors. The encroachment of their land and their human rights begins with the first settlement of the country from the Portuguese in 1500. Since 1500 capitalists run riot to people and nature. Today, governments, landholders and businessmen not following the declarations of the October 5th 1988 Constitution - which acknowledges the rights of the natives in their land as well as acclaims the human rights of the indigenous - ostracizes them in small parts of land and take advantage of the rest that belongs to them destroying nature. At this moment at Mato Grosso do Sul from the 96 claimed lands only 4 are certified, 8 are declared, 6 are homologated and 10 in homologation procedure and 68 against all odds! Monoculture of sugar cane , GMO soybean, distilleries that produce biofuel and coexist with livestock farming, deforestation and water poisoning are the profitable bloodbathed actions of the exploiters of the Guarani land. The confederacy of Mato's landowners has organized paramilitary units. The paramilitians murder without control, walloping, raping and torturing the indigenous daily. The violence against the natives is overmanning and that leads to the result that the Guarani-Kaiowa have the highest suicide rate of the country. These people die without treatment since the health system refuses to treat patients of the 'repossessed' camps. Also they die without the right of literacy,4 since illegally they ban them from having schools in their repossessed land. They do not only deprive them from freedom but also the right to live. What the capitalists appoint as development, stinks of exploitation and violence. At the altar of profit flows indigenous blood, animal blood, OUR blood! In every fight we are together, fighting for freedom - fighting for our right to live as HUMANS.
In a world for the few there is no space for anyone!!
LIBERTY TO LIFE.
