Twateau by Saoul
Funk Singer and Multi-Instrumentalist Saoul returms with a politically loaded yet super danceable Project named 'Twateau'.
Besides the obvious word-play on the title, Twateau seems to mean an unfunky and predictable state of conciousness, where lies and truth blur conviniently behind a political agenda, not unlike what one sees too often on the news these days.
But desparate times call for desperate measures.
Being his 6th full-length Album, he shows all out with a funkdafied, psychedelic Tour-de-force with Dancefloor Bangers such as the Title track and the glitzy 'InstaGlam', slowing it down for some off-beat deep Funk of 'Slurp', 'Spumanti Pt 1 &2' and 'What If I Told You' before diving all the way back into turbo-mode with 'Screws'.
If only the news where that much fun.
