A little over 30 years ago… in 1993 I made my first record.

9-3-93 I assembled the master and handmade some cassettes

This cassette is a time capsule that found it’s way back to me after almost 30 years. I handmade maybe 20 cassettes with one of a kind cover artwork for each one in 93, some given to close friends and family, others were used to send to record labels and music publishers. This is a recording of one of those 30 year old cassettes.

Shame was the first song I wrote & recorded in the new studio my dad & I built. I made every single cable & soldered every patch point.
I lived in the drum room, wrote, recorded & mixed Vulgar Electricity at Walden Two Productions in the heart of the Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon. To be specific...at the end of Yucca Trail, I began my artistic path as Scarecrow Adams. I have been making Scarecrow Adams records for over thirty years… this is the very first. Time travel through listening. Take a journey in songs with me through my early 20's in Hollywierd.
