Moviola by Schodt

It has been a while since Danish producer Schodt appeared on Silk Sofa - not since "White Rabbit" (Sofa Sampler #1), which recently saw a full single release on partner label Silk Textures. His wondrous works are also frequently featured on Silk Royal, Particles, and Mango Alley. This time Silk Sofa is proud to present his new 3-track EP, entitled "Moviola". The title track begins with soothing pad lines and hypnotizing synth layers and effects. Later, a stunning trombone makes its entry, resulting in a gorgeous overall atmosphere.

Next up is "Mr Morrison". A smooth groove is quickly introduced, and delayed exotic synth elements create a unique atmosphere. Distinctive guitar plucks and numerous background melodies unite beautifully, resulting in great listening experience.

Rounding out the package is "Gianni". A beautiful soundscape is soon established, and enjoyable percussion elements outline the groove. Variations such as inverted reverb effects add even more texture, and the calm piano melody supports the atmosphere further.
