Future St. by Schwartzy

After years of touring, recording, and producing albums with other artists, Future St. marks the first solo release for Schwartzy (Randy Schwartz). These songs were crafted through many hours of compiling massive instrumental textures of sound, using synthesizers, drums, vibes, and a million other toys, and then carefully peeling away what wasn't necessary to expose perfect sound beds to add vocals. As an instrumentalist first, it was essential for Schwartzy to allow the vocals to simply sit as an instrument within the sonic textures rather than the focal point. What results is a fantastic exploration of both familiar and fresh sounds that doesn't land neatly within any specific style or genre, but rather something that feels eerily similar to songs you recall from a dream state.
