Mica by Scintii
Eternal Dragonz releases ‘Papier’, the lead single from the label’s first complete body of musical work and debut of Taiwanese artist Scintii (Stella Chung). Scintii throws back to the digital dembow of London dancefloors, snapping off digital rim delays alongside chimes and a hook that floats freely.
Mica is four tracks of pure songwriting stretched across diamond-edge drums and lucid synthesizers, inspired by the form and body of minerals, out 17 February 2017.
Opening track 'Et' stretches crystalline keys and fluttering arhythmic hi-hats across Scintii's own vocals and the subs that play beneath. 'Mica' spreads the drums out with a melody that writhes within an echo chamber of percussion. 'ALH84001' closes the body of work, sinking the sound back into a dub-grounded void.
