Control is a mastery in the art of combing different genres to create what could be the most powerful song on VOL II musically. Punk rock, Thrash Metal, Groove Metal? They're all in there there and then some.

Lyrically it is a journey through the challenges of both Mental and Spiritual struggle from the inside and outside. Self-Control is difficult, but ultimately attainable if the desire to be "well" is powerful enough. It's all about keeping the right things in front of you and not giving any power or influence over your life to those voices and ideas that would harm you.
